We have equipped our latest vehicles with a remote temperature control system. From our headquarters, we constantly monitor the temperature in real time on all vehicles. In addition, on some vehicles, we are able to adjust the temperature remotely, ensuring that the optimal condition of our loads is maintained throughout the transport.
Our assistance team is available 24/7 to respond promptly to any incidents or technical failures, including immediate interventions such as puncture management. In the event that the vehicle involved cannot continue its journey, we offer the prompt intervention of the nearest vehicle in our fleet to ensure continuity of transport.

Full Truckload transport, also known as FTL (Full Truckload), represents the maximum in customization and efficiency in managing time and costs for shipments. This service offers the exclusivity of the entire cargo area for a single customer, thus ensuring a solution tailored to the specific needs of our customers.

PICKING:

We compose the shipment according to your requests.

Our fruit and vegetable picking service includes the complete management of the goods in our warehouses, the picking of individual product packages and the preparation of the pallets based on the orders, followed by shipping to the end customer. We manage all phases of the process, including storage, receiving orders, composing mixed pallets, drafting transport documentation and delivery, always guaranteeing maximum precision and professionalism. Upon customer request, we also provide Labelling, Packaging and Netting services.

LOGISTICS:

In Villafontana, Verona, we have a modern logistics facility spanning 9,000 m2, of which 6,000 m2 are dedicated to refrigerated warehouses. Here, an expert team of 45 people, including 20 specialized in picking, work to ensure the freshness and quality of your products. And we don’t stop there: an expansion project will soon see us add another 6,000 m2 of space, further increasing our logistics capabilities.
With another 6,000 m2 of warehouses located at our headquarters in Almeria, Spain, we are able to offer complete logistics coverage on an international scale. This strategic location allows us to be closer to the main fruit and vegetable production areas, ensuring faster transport times and optimised supply chain management.

Flexibility and operational efficiency:

Thanks to our software, the morning is golden.

Thanks to the evening departure time (18.30-20.30) we can take charge of orders until 12:00 and wait for the arrival of the pallets even in the afternoon.
Through our proprietary program, at the end of the morning we are able to check the number of pallets registered for shipping and the number actually received. This allows us to report any shortages to suppliers, allowing them to check the actual position of the goods.
If the pallet cannot be recovered in good time, the supplier has the option of cancelling it (always within the morning) and communicating the problem and any failed delivery to their customer.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED TRANSPORT:

Temperature is the main factor in the alteration of food products, such as fruit and vegetables. Inadequate thermal conditions can cause the deterioration of the goods and the loss of their organoleptic characteristics. To guarantee the freshness and integrity of the products during transport, it is necessary to use specialized vehicles and equipment capable of maintaining a constant temperature inside the cargo area throughout the journey.
Not only that: it is essential to provide training to staff and to accurately plan routes and delivery times. At Villatrans we also have dual temperature vehicles, with internal bulkhead, which allow the transport of products that require different storage conditions.
